1. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions for using WorshipBridge AI (the “Service”), a live worship interpretation service provided by Aletheia Lab Inc. (the “Company”), and the rights and obligations of the Company, subscribing churches (“Churches”) and listeners.
2. The Service
- We interpret the worship audio a Church broadcasts, live, with an AI interpretation engine, and deliver the interpreted voice and captions to listeners' browsers.
- Churches get a broadcast console, a listening address and QR code, on-screen captions (for OBS and ProPresenter) and usage records.
- Korean→English interpretation uses a denomination-aware theological glossary, and a Church may add its own names to it.
- Listeners join through the address or QR code without signing up.
3. Nature and limits of AI interpretation
Interpretation is produced live by AI, so it may contain mistranslations, omissions and delays (usually a few seconds). The interpreted voice may imitate the preacher's voice but can change after long pauses. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of the interpretation. Churches should tell listeners that the interpretation is AI-generated and should not rely on it alone for announcements that must be exact, such as offerings, events or safety notices.
4. Opening a Church and the broadcast key
- When a payment is confirmed, or when the Company opens a trial, each Church receives a listening address and a broadcast key.
- The Church is responsible for keeping its broadcast key safe. If you believe the key has left your church, tell us at once and we will issue a new one.
- A Church may not transfer, lend or resell its broadcast key to another church or third party.
5. Audio and personal data
For interpretation, the sermon audio is sent to an external interpretation engine (Google). We use a paid account so that the audio is not used to train AI. Our servers store neither the sermon audio nor the captions; we record only usage time, for billing. The Church decides what the microphone picks up — please pause the broadcast for times that should not be captured, such as intercessory prayer or personal counseling. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Using the Service for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe others' rights
- Using another person's voice for the fixed-voice option without their consent
- Placing excessive load on the Service, or reverse-engineering or copying it without permission
- Transferring or reselling a broadcast key outside the Church
7. Fees and payment
Prices and what each plan includes (monthly hours and number of languages) are as shown on the pricing section. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and billed through PayPal exactly as shown.
PayPal payments are recurring subscriptions. Monthly plans are charged every month and yearly plans every year on the same date. A Church may cancel the renewal at any time in its PayPal automatic-payment settings, or by asking us at [email protected]. Cancelling stops the next charge, and the Church keeps using the Service until the end of the period already paid for.
Usage beyond a plan's included hours and additional languages are not part of the subscription; we show the Church that month's usage record and then bill it on a separate invoice. We never cut off interpretation in the middle of a service because the included hours ran out.
The 4-week free trial (2 hours a month, 1 language) is opened by the Company on request. If we raise prices or change how we charge, we will email the Church at least 7 days before the change takes effect, and it will not apply to periods already paid for.
7-2. Withdrawal and refunds
Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Changes, maintenance and discontinuation
We may change features to improve the Service. Scheduled maintenance avoids Sunday service hours wherever possible and is announced in advance. Material changes that disadvantage Churches, or discontinuation of the Service, are announced at least 30 days in advance.
9. Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for damage caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, outages of third-party providers (interpretation engine, payments, networks), a Church's internet or audio equipment, or listeners' devices. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Company's liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount the Church paid the Company in the preceding 3 months.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court with jurisdiction over the Company's location is the court of first instance. We will try to resolve any dispute by discussion before litigation.
